King is a King?!

Well...considering how much more different it is now than back when Martin Luther King Jr had given that speech, I'm sure he'd be proud. There are many people who still view race as a big barrier, but to each his own way. The fact of the matter is, there is a huge difference to present, although there are problems that have yet to be resolved. A recent racial slur on the bus didn't help much either. The n word came out of a mouth in that argument...which led me to believe that the reason for the scuffle was because of race...or sanity of one party...considering we were near a hospital, but I'm just jumping to conclusions.

Martin Luther King really did put a lot of thought into the whole movement and speech, and we should all be proud that it made a difference. Sure it wasn't the fastest movement, but it worked in a good way. All races are humans, humans are the same species, no? There in turn, we are all equally "made", born with similar features. The only reason we have to be considered different is due to the characteristics we have adapted with due to our surroundings or conditions.

But overall, compared to the past in terms of racial divide, the present is a good example of a step forward.
